Over the past decade, David has grown Peak Equities Commercial Property Syndication business which now has over $275m of assets under management.
James is a highly reputed property professional with more than 20 years’ experience in property funds management. Beginning his career as a lawyer, James took up a position with the emerging Macquarie Bank property funds management business in 1996.
In his capacity as State Manager for Victoria South Australia and ACT, James headed a team that oversaw an investment and development portfolio of over $1 billion in value.
In his capacity as Acquisitions Advisor, James assists the Peak Directors in sourcing quality assets, and is charged with the responsibility of certifying all acquisitions as complying with the company’s baseline investment criteria.
Mr. Trevor O’Hoy is the Chairman of Peak Equities Pty Ltd. Trevor is one of Australia’s most respected business leaders.
Trevor’s career culminated in his appointment as President and CEO of Fosters Group Ltd and Managing Director of Carlton & United Breweries.
Since his retirement in 2008, Trevor has held numerous non- executive board roles including the role Chairman of private companies and philanthropic Boards, including The Swisse Wellness Group; Redcape Hotel Group; the Fundraising Committee of Monash University; the Ponting Foundation Ltd; and the Tobin Brothers Foundation Ltd.
Mr. Ian Foote has been appointed to the Board Peak Equities as non-Executive Director. Ian brings a wealth of commercial experience and a proven record of business success.
Ian co-founded a major IT and change management consulting firm, which was purchased by a publicly listed Swiss Corporation. Subsequently, he founded and chaired Stride Sports Management and remains a strategic investor in several start-ups and emerging companies.
In addition to his philanthropic engagements, Ian has been actively involved in high-level commercial property investment since 1998.
Peak Equities’ founder, Tom Borsky, has been active as a property syndicator for more than 15 years. With 40 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant, specialising in Property Investment and Funds Management throughout his career, he has provided strategic and technical advice to Australia’s leading property funds managers since 1974.
Tom was the founding Treasurer and Executive Board Member of Property Funds Australia, which is the representative body of the multi-billion unlisted property trust sector.
Complementing his expertise in the investment property industry is the value of Tom’s broad commercial experience in areas such as strategic business advice and asset valuations.
Dan’s relevant experience extends across all segments of the commercial property profession, including specialist skills in capital markets, financial analysis and transactions.
Dan is a Director of Magree Property Advisory. He provides professional, independent and strategic advice to a broad range of corporate and government clients. Previous experience includes a position at Arthur Andersen in their Corporate Finance Real Estate Group, after which he headed the Real Estate Investment Banking Group for Merrill Lynch. More recently he was a senior partner in the national consultancy firm m3property.
Dan has provided expert advice and direction on major acquisitions and developments around Australia and North America. He has built a network of clients and contacts in Asia, and has undertaken due diligence assignments on some of the largest property acquisitions in Australia.
